Hi all -
Both China and India want to join in the ISS, and this will be a decision undertaken by the next administration.
If circumstances (say a flare up of tensions by the Taiwanese in the next few months) do not alllow that to happen, then China will develop its own space station and fuel transfer/storage technologies independently.
Victor Legostayev's paper shows the state of discussions, as does the international agreement on docking which Griffin recently entered into.
let's all hope and work for peace and (moderate) prosperity -
and rivers that are not sewers and enough women to go around -
EP
PS - JimO, noticing the recent discussion over this adminstration's serious mistake, as our old acquaintance S. might have put it, "Who are you trying to b*** s***?"
