This event is linked to the appearance of the same folks on Larry King
last Friday. The only point is to promote a new documentary film. This
press conference was flogged on Larry King as 'senior officers from
the world's air forces and FAA will make a major announcment on
Monday'. However a check of the National Press Club's web site showed
it was just the (retired) Air Force official and FAA official that
appeared on the program and discussed two sightings plus some Peruvian
and Mexican (retired) AF pilots who had made some sightings. All of
these were known in the UFO literature.

The officers are simply a few of those who have sighted UFO's (eg RAF
Bentwaters case etc). The whole thing is a publicity event for the
film. Nothing new here (and no new or convincing footage in the film,
either)..
