[FPSPACE] Any help? Project "Aspen"

Greetings everyone.

 

Recently, a colleague of mine sent me some outstanding materials relating to
the Myachseshev aerospace design bureau (I could be mis-spelling the
bureau's name).  In this book (issued in 2005) there is a lengthy discussion
about aerospace antipodal bombers that were investigated by said bureau,
among other space-related craft developed and tested (BOR-5, Shuttle flying
test bed 002, the most current tourist-visitations-to-space craft, Buran,
the Geofizika high-altitude craft, etc).  One of these apparently was
labeled the M-19.

 

In this section, there was a comparison of the M-19 bomber with a
"Seh-Sheh-Ah" (phonetic spelling of USA in Cyrillic) craft termed "Aspen" in
the text.  I was quite surprised to see this.  There was an actual graphic
comparing the M-19 to "Aspen," and there was an illustration of said "Aspen"
as well.

 

 

Does anyone know more about this American project termed "Aspen"?  Any URL
links perhaps?  Couldn't find anything via a quick usage of Yahoo.
