Dear JimO,

    your latest article indicates that someone needs to introduce a
protocol for: 

1. spring-cleaning of all exposed surfaces within the ISS. Due to the
lack of dirt in the sense of dust & mud, no one thinks of this.

2. the annual fumigation of the ISS & all its successors.  Including
air con ducts & other inaccessible nooks & crannies.
     This might require its crew to wait out 24 hrs inside a docked
shuttle, remembering to don clean clothes & footwear before
re-entering.

    No one thought of this during the time of Skylab, Mir, nor the ISS
up to now.
