Thanks Dave and Jakob,

Eastview did have copies available a few months ago. Here is their link (if
they still have any!).

I was fortunate enough to be able to borrow this book from the Library of
Congress through my local library. A great service which only cost me $3.00. I
couldn't take it from the premises, but was able to view it on request for 30
days.

Best Regards,

David L. Rickman

Folks,

The Russian Federal Space Agency, Roscosmos, has just put out a new book
with a lot of interesting information.

Title: Roscosmos
ISBN 5-94141-010-7
RESTART Publishing House
Phone: (495) 631 80 79
Fax: ( 495) 631 83 87

"This book focuses on the issues concerned with the Russian
Federation's civilian space activities. The Federal Space Agency
(Roscosmos) plays a key role in the planning and implementation of
the national space program. This publication also attempts to look
into the future and project where Russian space activities will be
in the years to come"

An online PFD file has the index of contents on pages 1-5, plus pages
222-225 showing some of the contents.

My copy of the English edition is 239 pages long and filled with a mix
of text, tables, and illustrations that go through all of the civilian
facilities, launch vehicles, and different spacecraft programs: past,
present and planned future, as well as key personalities. There are
illustrations of all of these, some of which I have never seen before,
such as the planned three additional Russian module additions for the
International Space Station. The publisher indicates that it has
printed only 2000 copies of the English edition so it may be a little
difficult locating a copy.

Dave
