I'm sure our beloved moderator will permit me to
clear up this gross misinterpretation of what I have
written on the subject of GW.

That the Earth is slightly warmer these years than a
century ago, and that CO2 levels are up by 30% on its
minute proportion of atmospheric content are facts
 that nobody denies.

Also there is agreement that the increase in CO2 level
owes to mankind ( felling of the rainforest, etc.).
There is no agreement, however, on how much of the
slight temperature increase owes to the extra CO2
emissions. In fact, a recent analysis suggested it
was less than 50%, and that more than 50% owes to
other factors ( most likely a high level of sunspots ).

Only hardcore GW fanatics will claim that the present
warming is not beneficial. The GW manifesto is that
computer model projections predict the possibility of
dangerously warm weather in another 50 or 100 years.
Dangerous in economic terms, that is.

Even if temperature - due to human or other influences -
should increase by another degree or two centigrade -
there is no reason we cannot easily adapt. And certainly,
and that was my point which David turned around, there is
no comparison between such a warmer climate and the sudden
catastrophy conjured up by the PHO scenarios addressed by
NASA on instructions from the US Congress.
