[FPSPACE] Ivan Safranov dead

In addition to very sad, this is very troubling. Has Mr. Safranov written anything critical of the government / military / space industry recenty, or was he working on any sensitive stories?

I know Vlad Putin is a great hero to some on this list for "calling out" the U.S. on its aggressive militarism, but isn't it just a little odd how journalists and his critics keep meeting with mysterious accidents all over the world (radioactive poinsoning, criminal "hit" jobs, falling out of windows, etc.)?
