Matt, and everyone else.

Victor Louis WAS a journalist. A very good one. Was he also employed in
another capacity outside of being journalist? Yes.

But..

Victor Louis was authorized in his "leaks" that he gave Western journalists.
Please re-read the entire sequence in my ""Deep Politics' and the Moon Race"
that is on Globalsecurity.org. (Which by the way, is still being visited
frequently, even as of this date.)

Visit the cover page of Globalsecurity, and scroll down the right-hand
column. Click on "Soviets and Moon race."

Victor Louis was NOT the person that US intelligence used for information
gathering, that I had highlighted in my presentation at this year's BIS
forum.

AND I am going to tell you my read about such Cold War era persons, who
provided information to the Other Side. It is based on a lot of erudition,
and interviewing. The side that received the information invariably felt
that these people were PATRIOTS. That's right. We felt our sources over in
the former USSR and in eastern Europe were Patriots, and the Russians felt
that their sources over here and in Europe were Patriots for them. And
these people, most often, felt that they themselves were Patriots for their
country.

It was, as Ladislas Farago long ago stated (and was the title of one of his
books), "The Game of the Foxes."

Now I think people here on this listerserv should give this "treason"
labeling a rest.

I am going to quote a naturalist and animal tracker who died several years
ago, by the name of Rene Dahinden.

"If You Don't Know the Facts, Your Opinion is Of No Value."

Let everyone heed what they read.
