 Another good point is that some of us download digests via
 a 48 kbit modem connection, then go offline to read said
 digests. We can't retrospectively connect to URLs and
 consequently miss articles not explicitly sent.

 Bob's perceived problem highlights the positive fact that
 the fpspace policy of not including jpg and gif files is
 working out ok. Viewing the odd such photo at the time of
 one's next dial-up is acceptable.

 Peter Pesavento's text-only postings are entirely kosher in
 my opinion. Maybe Bob could be persuaded to do the numbers
 ( in whole cents ) pertaining to the cost of their download,
 and post those numbers here?
