Bob, you are entitled to your opinion.

But, that doesn't make your interpretation of what I wrote accurate.

If you felt it was condescending, you miss the point.

The point is, you want to make a case about the posting of news.  It has
been the MO of many here since 1997.  That's when I originally was on this
list.

If you are being inconvenienced due to the computer platform you are using,
I can't help you with that.  Use a different platform.

Well "pjp", that's very condescending of you.

Some of us, when mobile, have to pay by volume to download e-mail. Thanks to
you, I have recently paid to download two news articles that I have already
read
elsewhere.

I have made a mental note that postings by "pjp" are all of "great
importance"
(I should have realised that from the flood of discussion triggered by the
two
recently-posted items). However "pjp", that still does make it necessary to
flood the group with material that is only a mouse click away.

We are getting on to dangerous ground - I will post no more.
