Interviewer: The "blast off"?

Astronaut Jimenex: Yes, I always take a blast before I take off.

My guess: It wasn't any of the test pilots who were drunk at blast off.  Too 
many flying hours and too many close shaves, and they knew those early 
flight systems were funky. Nah - I'd look to the pre-Challenger and 
pre-Columbia shuttle flights - but the reporting system used here was 
anonymous for good reason.

I think that this alcohol news is over shadowing the divorce - family 
problems news, which is more systematic.
