Bob,
Your concerns are noted. However, at times the hyperlinks don't work, and
many people (myself included) hold the view that if it's mere text, then I
don't mind reading the articles inside the e-mail message. For
illustrations, well yes, URL links are best.
If you don't want to read the article, delete it. It's a simple thing.
And these articles I have posted over the past day or two are of such great
import, that the entire article I felt had the gravity to be posted in
completeness here on fpspace.
Part of what fpspace does, in part, is to inform its members. Posting news
stories is part of that service it informs. And from posting the articles,
discussions ensue. That's a standard M.O., Bob.
And many others, outside of myself and Larry K., do post articles. Some
excerpts, some in completeness. If you check the stuff say, from 1997
onwards, there are many people posting articles. I don't see you
complaining about those persons.
'Nuff Said.

To "pjp" (whatever your full name) and Larry Klaes.
If you want to draw our attention to a story of interest then the hyperlink
is
quite sufficient, possibly with a few words of explanation if the headline
does
not speak for itself.
Pasting the whole story into an e-mail is bad etiquette, takes up space on
the
server, and creates unnecessary traffic volume when FPSpace reflects it to
everyone. This multiplies up when people respond and include the whole
original
message in the reply
My understanding is that FPSpace is a discussion group, not a newswire
agency.
Bob Christy.
