Hi Bob ,
Thats the impression I got , it almost seems like an iris effect , rotating
as the focus changes.
Whilst being aware that we may be straying off topic a little here , this
clip
http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/satcom_transits/tank_ice.wmv is one of
the most stunning sequences of ice imagery I have seen , captured a couple
of missions ago.
