Sounds jolly fascinating. 
How typical that just as they achieve experimental victory, the USG
cuts off their funding!
Just like aerospikes or scramjets, or the 3/4 built X-33..
We can only hope that the atomic energy agencies in Brazil, India,
China, Russia, Japan, etc will indeed take this up -  so as to trigger
off a panic flood of funding for those US physicists!
