There are at times other influences that can contribute to the seeming lack of civility.  There have been many times, when I have been blasted within this forum and have returned with escallation -- getting even is so pointless!  I know for a fact that Mr. Grondine was blasted for his assumed association with some lunatic fringe group, so maybe his attitude got a little tweaked.  I'm not one who favors the "can't we all get along" philosophies, when the opponent seeks only my silence, at whatever cost, even if it means my total humiliation or death!  I believe that adults who are looking to get their feelings hurt will do so no mater what they encounter, and that adults looking for truth will find it despite the tone of the presenter!
   
  Ironically, George Tenet told the 60-Minutes interviewer, "Truth matters to us!"  Hog Wash!  He was interested in trying to appear favorable to his new bosses, not to tell them the hard truth that the CIA had clearly and plainly uncovered before and fter 9/11!  "Slam Dunk!"  
   
  Truth should matter to us, here, not how it is perceived, as rude or harsh!
