By the way, as soon as we are discussing the issue of the English
'pseudo-Russian' terms, can anyone provide me with any insight concerning
mentioned 'Shuttleski' (or 'Shuttlovski'?) - the etymology and supposed
meaning of the word? In Russian, 'Shuttlovskii' would probably mean
'belonged to the Shuttle' (neither 'Shuttle-like', nor 'mini-Shuttle', nor
'Russian Shuttle'). The artificially generated 'Shuttelchik' should probably
mean 'small Shuttle', but there is nothing like this latter word in real
Russian. 'Shuttleski' could probably mean the Slavic surname of the person
someway related to the Shuttle, but again, I never heard about anything like
this in Russian. We used 'Sovetskii Shuttle' set expression for Buran before
it has been officially announced (and later - in the situations where the
Westerners would probably use 'Shuttleski' term). So what are the roots of
the strange intercultural phenomena of 'Shuttleski'?..
