David S. F. Portree's well-written article on Gagarin et al had me wondering: Did the Soviets really ever call the Luna probes Luniks, or was that a Western convention based on Sputnik? I know as a derisive joke they called Sputnik 2 Muttnik, thus my wondering. Thanks, Larry
