Jim & thomsona:
NEW EARTHS is a fun book - my copy resides next to Fogg's terraforming
textbook.
More on Felix Godwin. As of February 2004, he was active with his wife in the
Sierra Club chapter in Huntsville, AL. He grew up in England, became a
physicist, and worked for Teledyne Brown for 33 years before retiring. He likes
bats. I can't tell whether he authored MISSION TO SAMARKAND in 1964, but it
appears to have been published first by a British publisher (as was THE EXPLORATION
OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM), so maybe.
