Looks like corn fields to me. Besides, I don't remember an OTH radar in
Gomel. There was one next to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and one in
the Far East.

Best,

    Pavel

P.S. Some early-warning radars are here:

Subject: [FPSPACE] google_earth_OTH radar_Gomel

Dear colleagues,

Being "googleearth-addicted" for some days, I started to point out russian
OTH radars.
I started from the "globalsecurity portal" to check the coordinates they
give.
Working on Gomel OTH Steel Yard radar, I found this point: [51°38'12".38N -
30°03'54".71E].
It seems to be relevant, but I'm not an expert, and I was not lucky enough
to walk on the ground there...
Is there anybody there able to cross my assessment and confirm this point?

By the way, due to the foreseeable success of such a tool, should we decide
all together to write "google_earth" at the begening of the "object" line of
our posts in order to filter them automatically?

Hope this help! (ready to share my points with anybody interrested)

Best regards,

François
