I will post the message on the list. There is nothing "confidential" in it.
Keep in mind however that I was only into the technical side of the 
project.
The MSR DeeDri (Deep Drill) reused technology developed for the Rosetta 
sample acquisition system, mated to a robotic arm to bring it in contact 
with the surface. My task was a study of the dynamical characteristics 
of the robotic arm. I was unlucky enough to be working on it in late 
1999 when we learned that DeeDri would probably never fly as designed
If anyone is interested I can put on my website some (public) documents 
generated by JPL and ASI on the project
