[FPSPACE] How SpaceShipOne Works

SpaceShipOne is the winner of the X Prize, an award intended to
encourage space tourism. The rocket plane, funded by Microsoft
co-founder Paul Allen, reached the required altitude of 368,000 feet
(about 112,000 meters) on Monday.

On Friday, Mt. St. Helens erupted with a stream of steam and ash that
rose 10,000 feet (about 3,000 meters) into the air. That eruption
caused no danger to health or safety, but scientists are predicting
that the volcano will erupt again since earthquake tremors continue
to occur in the area.
