I meant it was not live!

NBC had a live transmission from Mojave while the White Knight was approaching the drop pont, promised live coverage of the release of SS, but did not deliver. Instead they broadcast something trivial. Media interest is fickle!

Also, some announcers said SS1 had gone into orbit!

That is the way it is with journalists
