Dwayne,

        thanks for posting here a few days ago that report on the final NASA budget. The news that both the Majority Leader in Congress - & the White House - had actually been strongly pushing behind the scenes for no NASA budget cuts, is by _far_ more important than whatever actual phrases Bush's speech-writer chose on our favourite topic.

          The news that the JSC now falls within the re-delimited voting district of the Majority Leader in Congress, might be the happiest development for NASA's budget since LBJ became Vice-Pres, then Pres, with his Texas background, & his voting track record. We'll have to watch if this happy conjunction holds up over the next three annual budget apropriations.
