[FPSPACE] Lunar dust

Does anybody here know the current thinking on lunar dust in the context of 
Return to The Moon(tm)?  Is it believed to be a non-problem for extended 
manned surface operations, a small problem, a moderate problem, a big 
problem, an open question?

Are any robotic missions to investigate lunar dustiness, its long-term 
effects on machinery and possible remedial measures contemplated or 
advocated?
