[FPSPACE] Fw: Cornell News: Ed Lu to deliver Olin Lecture on June 11

Nice press release concerning Ed Lu's upcoming lecture on June 11, wish I
could be there. 

Note one trivial boo-boo: NASA astronaut Ed Lu was the second American to
both launch and land in the Russian Soyuz capsule. American millionaire
astro-tourist Dennis Tito was the first American to do so. The third was
NASA astronaut Mike Foale. Other Americans have launched in the Soyuz (NASA
astronauts Norm Thagard and Bill Shepherd) or landed in the Soyuz (NASA
astronauts Ken Bowersox and Don Pettit). I assume that their info is from
NASA PAO. They might have forgotten about Tito, since (although American) he
is not a NASA astronaut.

True to my nature as an anal-retentive space triviologist, I have already
sent the correction to Cornell.
