How about the oddness of the July 1969 lunar launch window and what do
you think?

Subject: [FPSPACE] Zond 4

I think that part of the confusion over the lifetime of Zond 4 was that
originally the Goddard Satellite Situation Report showed the spacecraft
in heliocentric orbit, on the basis that (a) NORAD had no idea where the
spacecraft was and (b) Zonds 1-3 had entered heliocentric orbit.

I assume that "Zond 4B" an unofficial western designator for the April
1968 launch vehicle failure which didn't make it to orbit.

Love all of the conspiracy theories, but I prefer Occam's Razor.

PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY

(1) The only way to comprehend the deeds and utterances of
politicians is with the basic knowledge that they had their brains
surgically removed before they were allowed to enter politics: no
counter-examples to disprove this theory are known.

(2) Why should the Universe be comprehensible to human beings ?

Coincidence by Martin Plimmer and Brian King, page 28.
