[FPSPACE] July 3rd, 1969 N1 Launch (was: Names on a plaque)

Hello!

   I for one am fascinated by Ed's "wild ideas." On more than one occasion I 
have been asked by members of this group if I had any "inside" information on 
the July 3rd, 1969 N1 launch. I do not. However ... IF this was an 
unsuccessful launch of a manned mission, the Soviet government would definitely have 
considered it well above Top Secret. Perhaps the deepest secret.

  What do our other expert say about the preparations of this launch? Would 
these preparations have supported a manned mission?
