between Cosmos 186 and Cosmos 188 on 30 October 1967!

Perhaps I imagined listening to the radio signals also!

  On 15 April 1968 the first automated space docking was achieved, between
Kosmos 212 & 213. Few machine things capture the public imagination as much
as human spaceflight.

   But I think these space engineering milestones need to be celebrated, & a
toast to any of the engineers concerned that are still living pensioners!
