The current issue of The Skeptical Inquirer has an article on Richard
Hoagland and his various claims. It focuses heavily on Hoagland's claims
about the face on Mars, but also debunks his claim that he was the first
to propose the "Pioneer plaque" on Pioneer 10 and the first to propose
that an underground ocean existed on Europa. It pretty much tears
Hoagland into itty bitty pieces on these subjects. SI is at most large
magazine stores and probably has a web presence.

Also, the conservative rag The Weekly Standard has a cover titled
"Militarize Space Now!" There are five articles inside on various space
subjects. The one I read was a bashing of NASA and ISS (it is expensive
pork, they say--wow, big revelation there...). There is also a ridiculous
article calling for the creation of a Space Force. And there is another
article by Frank Gaffney on missile defense (what Gaffney knows about
military space can be fit in a small paper bag).
