I finally managed to get down to the Science Museum here in Hong Kong to
have a look at the exhibition.

They have the following mock-ups on display.
- Shenzhou
- Dongfanghong 1
- Dongfanghong 3
- Shijian 1
- Shijian 3
- Fengyun 1
- Fengyun 3
- China-Brazil Earth Resources Satellite
- a number of models of Long March launchers

In addition to this they have the following "real" hardware
- 17th recoverable satellite
- an engine of some description
- the kick-stage for the Fengyun 2 satellite
- part of the launch escape system for Shenzhou
- the payload shroud + launch escape system for Shenzhou

I managed to get photographs of most of the above as well as the boards that
surrounded the Shenzhou display. These included some information on
astronaut training.

They also had some souvenirs on sale. I picked up a nice 1:40th scale model
of Shenzhou made of plastic and metal, which comes nearly fully assembled
(except for the two pairs of solar panels) in a nice box. They also have a
number of metal desk ornaments representing Shenzhou.

If anybody is interested in having these let me know quickly as the
exhibition finishes on Sunday, and they will no longer stock them after that
date, although I think I have the telephone number of the Chinese
manufacturer. The models are retailing for about US$40 and up.

I am hoping to go again tomorrow morning Hong Kong time, so let me know if
you have any special requests for further photographs. However, it is not
possible to take a look inside the descent module of Shenzhou.
