[FPSPACE] Kamanin diaries 1967-1968

For those interested : my summary of the third volume of the Kamanin
diaries (covering 1967-1968) is now out in the latest issue of the Journal
of the British Interplanetary Society (November/December 2000). Among the
items covered : events leading up to the Soyuz-1 accident and the mission
itself, the investigation of the accident, the slow recovery of the Soyuz
programme with the automated docking missions and the Soyuz-2/3 mission,
flights in the L-1/"Zond" programme and how the Soviet Union lost the Moon
race, the crash of Gagarin and Seryogin. I hope the space history buffs will
learn something new from this.
