   MOSCOW, Oct 11 (AFP) - Former Russian cosmonaut Valentina  
Tereshkova, the first woman in space, will receive the prestigious 
Woman of the Century award at a lavish ceremony in London on 
Wednesday, a Moscow news agency reported. 
   The International Women of the Year Association, established in  
1955, is honouring the 63-year-old space icon with the prestigious 
award, RIA Novosti said.
