I receive FPSPACE in digest format, so there is some
delay before I read contributions. This political scientist
did not mean to trigger off a spam war on censorship.
Irritation with pseudo-science, & conspiracy theory
nuts, may have made me momentarily lose my sense of
proportion. Instead of litigation, maybe satire by stand-up
comics & cabaret performers is an alternative way of getting
the majority laughing at the weirdo theories? Ands of
course, more Sagan, Patrick Moore & Jack Horkenheimer
classics in the print & electronic media, & schools &
colleges & public libraries.
Now, back from the X-axis to our favourite Z+ axis !
Presumably the joint NASA- Lockmart agreement to use Al
propellant tanks, not carbon fibre, for its X-33, means that
said X-33 will be more sub-orbital than before, or with a
far smaller payload. I am surprised that at the least they
have not started a parallel call it X-33 B project to press
ahead with debugging the manufacturing of the carbon-carbon
propellant tanks. Clearly VentureStar cannot go beyond paper
studies until this weight saver is a success?
