[FPSPACE] Space and the new US government

It might be worth speculating on how the new US government will approach
space in the coming year.  (Keeping in mind that space is very low
priority for any president and any Congress.)

Does anybody have any ideas on what a Republican president and Republican
Congress will do on the following issues?

-selecting a NASA administrator

-future cooperation with Russia on the ISS

-the fate of the X-33

-whether or not Triana gets to fly


Does anybody have other issues to add to the list?

(I'm not going to speculate myself.  I'm just wondering if there is any
interest in the subject.)
