to him if you are interested.
============
As part of my ongoing (and rather novice) effort to collect and
catalog the Russian Space program I recently aquired a KAZBEK-U chair. I am
ultimately seeking to identify which Soyuz mission the chair originated
from; at present I have tag serial number which I have digitally
photocaptured as the only possible link to its past. I understand you have
had extensive interaction with the Soviet/Russian program and was wondering
if you could point me in the right direction. As I also have a Sokol KV-1
Suit I want to display with the chair I want to make sure they are from the
same period.
The chair is made all the more mysterious by the fact that personalized
couch cushions do not fit into the chair. It has a liner already mated to
the metal backing on the chair which may indicate the chair is from the
pre-MIR/Saylut error when interchange of the liners was not required between
spacecraft.......
I am prepared to forward photos as nessessary to aid with the identification
process....
Thanks and best regards -
Scott
