A recent AFP report that is popping up in various
publications is reporting that Iranian sex
workers deported back to Iran from the Gulf
States, are having their passports confiscated
and that the Iranian Government says that such
returned deportees will not be issued with
passports in the future.

So with a comprehensive mix of visa restrictions
and passport controls trafficking in the Gulf
region trafficking will soon be a thing of the
past....!

This is a repeat of previously ad-hoc practice in
Romania regarding passports and the unofficial
profiling for entry that occurs in the UK and
other nations.

Trafficking is about the control of women, either
your movement and life is supposedly controlled
by organised crime or by the State. Both
institutions are normally run by men for their
convenience.

Women obviously need the ways and means to avoid
oppressive control by either of these groups.

regards

John Davies
