Sure; but that's like saying "when you board a plane that you hope will
take you to destination X, you are not wholly aware that your plane may
crash, and you may end up dead!" Anything is liable to abuse -- there are
countless men and women in relationships around the world facing some form
of abuse -- but that does not mean that couples should stop dating!
