Dear Web Master,
I am pleased to announce our new web site
http://www.brunofilms.com , and to request a reciprocal link.
http://www.brunofilms.com is a social action web site featuring 3 award
winning documentary films by Ellen Bruno on human rights issues in
CAMBODIA, TIBET and BURMA, plus extensive RESOURCE guides, LINKS, and a
detailed TAKE ACTION component.
Featured on the site are the following films, all premiered at the
Sundance film festival:
SAMSARA documents the Cambodian's efforts to reconstruct a shattered
society in a climate of war and with limited resources, bringing a
humanistic perspective to a country in deep political turmoil.
SATYA: A PRAYER FOR THE ENEMY documents human rights abuses in Tibet,
focusing on the non-violent political activism of Tibetan Buddhist nuns
in the struggle for independence and religious freedom.
SACRIFICE examines the social, cultural and economic forces at work in
the trafficking of Burmese girls into prostitution in Thailand.
We want the visitors to your site to be aware of these films as
resources, and to guide them to action which will contribute to the
cessation of human rights abuses in Cambodia, Burma and Tibet.
Key elements of the site include:
TAKE ACTION: Suggestions on how individuals, schools, community and
church groups can take action, including a step-by-step guide on how to
use the film to raise awareness, and how to organize benefit screenings
to raise funds for local initiatives or projects overseas
RESOURCES: Listings of recommended films, books, and articles, as well
as organizations working on related issues, with descriptions of the
projects and information on how individuals can support this work
We have linked your site, and ask that you consider a reciprocal link.
