Dear List,

This was a clear case of slavery, and slavery is
a far better description of the event than
"trafficking". One of most problematic issues
regarding "trafficking" is the continuing
confusion of slavery and slavery like practices
with the voluntary but irregular migration of
asylum seekers, sex workers and others.
