Mexico strips erotic dancers of jobs

MEXICO CITY, Nov 29 (Reuters) - Mexican authorities have rounded up 29
foreign ``exotic dancers'' accused of performing strip tease routines
without work permits and might deport them, officials said on Monday.

The women were caught performing ``lucrative activities'' while in the
country on tourist visas, which would violate immigration laws, the
Attorney General's Office (PGR) said in a news release.

The 29 ``European women'' -- no countries were listed -- worked for The
Men's Club, a nightclub in Mexico City's popular Pink Zone tourist district.
