         BNWLA's call to stop repression on women, THE INDE...

   Speakers at a rally urged all to come forward to stop repression on
women, women trafficking and child prostitution.
      Organised by the Bangladesh National Women Lawyers Association
(BNWLA), the rally was held yesterday in front of the National Press Club
marking the Women Repression Resistance Day.
      The rally was addressed, among others, by Advocate Farida Khanom Eti,
Hasna Begum, Asma Begum and Deepty Ball.
      Earlier, a procession was brought out from the Institution of
Engineers premises.
