FORUM ON TRAFFICKING IN FORMER SOVIET UNION
You are invited to participate in the second All-NIS/Global chatroom on
sexual trafficking from the former Soviet Union. During the first chatroom
on June 29, 172 sites in the NIS participate as well as 8 republics and 12
countries from four continents.
The second chatroom takes place on September 29 from 8 AM to 5 PM Moscow
time and will focus on laws and legal aspects of trafficking.
We hope that international experts on law and law enforcement will be
online to speak directly to women's and human rights groups across the
former Soviet Union on this topic. It was heavily requested by
participants during the first chatroom.
If you are in North or South America, please take into consideration that
you are up to 12 hours behind Moscow and the date may be the 28th of

The chatroom takes place in Russian and if you need to "russify" your
computer, this is how you do it.
Go to the Microsoft home page. Then go to the DOWNLOAD tab and select the
version of Internet Explorer 5 which is appropriate for your operating

Go to VIEW
Under VIEW go to ENCODING
Under ENCODING go to MORE

At that point, EI5 will ask if you want to download the Pan-European
Language Support Pack. Say yes and download the pack.

If it doesn't, go to SETTINGS - CONTROL PANELS - INTERNET OPTIONS
then LANGUAGES and make sure that "Russian" is selected as an option.
Then try it.
If it doesn't work then, you will need to download the fonts which can be
accessed at the bottom of the Chatroom Page.
