Woman Offers To Sell Daughter Online - (ARAPAHOE COUNTY) -- An Arapahoe County
woman is facing charges of attempted child trafficking after allegedly
tried to sell her adopted
daughter over the Internet. Forty-two-year-old Denise Thomas was arrested
after a Texas couple
alerted Colorado authorities that Thomas had offered to sell them the child
for four-thousand dollars.
Eight-year-old Elena Thomas, who was legally adopted from Russia by Thomas,
has been taken
from her home and put in foster care.
