Dear List,

The Center for Reproductive Law and Policy ("CRLP"), a not-for-profit
organization of public interest lawyers dedicated to women's
reproductive rights, is planning to work with legal and policy
organizations in Central and Eastern Europe to promote advocacy efforts
for women's reproductive rights. We have begun a collaborative effort
with national-level partners in 51 countries of the world. We are now
launching our research in Eastern and Central Europe for our third
volume of the series Women of the World: Laws and Policies Affecting
their Reproductive Lives. We will be researching the laws and policies
affecting women's reproductive health and rights in the following
countries: Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania,
Russia, and Yugoslavia. One of the issues we will be researching is
trafficking in women, so we would be very interested in receiving any
legislation or policy in the region regarding this issue. The posting
of the new Ukrainian law on trafficking was very useful. If anyone has
additional sources or contacts, it would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Katie Tell
