Supported developmental experiments for ABM systems. DS-type control-test complexes used for radar tests of the PVO (Soviet Air Defence Forces). Developed by V M Kovtunenko at OKB-586. As a result of flight test of the DS-P1 in 1962 the practical use of this method was shown.
