This association supports the right of young people to learn about their national heritage as well as the cultures of others in order to help develop their creative potential. The association promotes interregional communication and exchanges between young people; in 1997, the group developed the Friendship Bridge - North & South program that brought together youth from the St. Petersburg area, Krasnodar krai, and the Adygei Republic. The association also established a National Cultures Club dedicated to the diverse cultural heritage of Russia. The club hosts ethnic dance performances, cooking demonstrations, holiday celebrations, and other cultural events.
