The club provides support to disabled young people in the St. Petersburg area by fostering friendships, sponsoring excursions, hosting social events, and providing job counseling and vocational training. The club recently started a discotheque for disabled youth, the first disco of its kind in the city. It works with more than 150 disabled individuals ranging in age from 14 to 30.
The club also seeks to unite the efforts of local groups for youth and the disabled, regularly participating in a Round Table Association of youth organizations. In the summer of 1993, the club represented Russia in a Peace Assembly that took place in the former Yugoslavia. It maintains close contact with the Hungarian National Federation of Disabled Persons.
