Appendix 3: Network services in Asia and the Pacific

Here is a partial list of companies and associations providing access to the global network from a selection of Asia-Pacific countries. This information should not be considered authoritative, complete or up to date, since there is incredibly rapid change in the market for network access. For that reason, no prices or service levels are listed here. These contacts have been drawn from a variety of sources and have not been verified by the author.

In addition to the providers listed here, another option for connectivity involves X.25 public data networks. Local telecommunications authorities generally can provide details on X.25 service.
