The following are resources provided to help in locating people and organizations in the countries of the former Soviet Union, in the Baltics, and in Eastern and Central Europe, and those in other parts of the world interested or actively working in these areas.
We hope that these resources are a first step towards providing a comprehensive, searchable "who's who" database. Please let us know of other resources that would be useful here.
An on-line searchable E-mail Directory listing almost 5,000 e-mail addresses in the former Soviet Union and the Baltics is provided by the Citizens Democracy Corps.
Our database of "Friends and Partners" subscribers is provided here.
Intermap database based at Yaroslavl, Russia is a very new resource allowing users search for people providing some of the information on their email addresses, names, addresses and/or organizations. They have a HELP page and each user of this service automatically adds his/her address to the database. Service is currently limited to 10k of information per user.
The "Who is Who" directory service is a very useful directory of people and resources in the FSU.
