Nassor S. Ali was born in Zanzibar in November 1964.

A holder of Diploma in Journalism from Tanzania School of Journalism and MA in Journalism from St Petersburg State University. Worked for the Television Zanzibar for two years before moving to Russia. Started writting for the SPP in September 1993, two months later became a permanent staff member.

He is a family man and a father of his son. He says "I'm the happiest man under the sun."
